Steve Wild,
President and CEO
Steve Wild is the founder and CEO of LifeSport Tennis & Athletic Clubs, which owns and manages "semi-private" tennis and health clubs between Chicago and Milwaukee.
Widely recognized as one of the top junior developers in 1986, Mr. Wild purchased his first tennis club in Libertyville, Illinois. Since then the club has grown tenfold,
produced two world-class tennis players and is generally considered one of the top clubs of its kind in the country. With the addition of two more clubs in 1998, another in 2002,
and a fifth in 2019, the company has doubled again since 1998.
Steve is a frequent presenter and writer on tennis, business and technological issues within the club industry. He also holds an MBA from Northwestern University and has served on a wide variety of non-profit boards including the Lake Forest Park and Recreation Department and the United States Tennis Association's Professional Circuits Committee. In his "other life", Steve is the bass player and founding member of the Class of '68, one of Chicagoland's top 60's bands.
Matt Gordon,
Vice President of Operations
Matt Gordon is the Vice President of Operations for LifeSport Tennis & Athletic Clubs and is primarily responsible for the membership base, marketing,
public relations and overall revenue growth. Matt has over 20 years of health and recreation club experience including Sales Manager, Club Manager
and General Manager. Prior to joining LifeSport in 1998, Matt was a Membership Sales Consultant with Sales Makers, one of the industry's leading
sales and marketing consulting companies, working with clubs in the United States and Europe.
